Tottenham looked incredible in the North London derby, defeating Arsenal 3-0 in their Premier League match on Thursday night.
The Gunners had the brighter start, but Spurs gained ground and took the lead in the 22nd minute thanks to a Kane penalty.
When Cedric pushed Son over a Kulusevski cross, referee Tierney instantly signaled for a penalty.
Kane took a step forward and smashed it in the bottom right corner, throwing Ramsdale off balance.
With 33 minutes gone, Holding was shown a second yellow card for tripping Son as the Korean forward tried to chase down Dier through ball.
Tottenham then increased their lead four minutes later as Bentancur tucked home a Son corner.
Kane slipped through at the back post and finished to give his team a two-goal lead at the break.
The Gunners’ hopes of a comeback were swiftly shattered as Son blasted into the far corner only two minutes into the second half to make it 3-0 and secure an important win for the hosts.
Tottenham is now just one point behind Arsenal with two games remaining.
To keep the pressure on Arsenal, they will host Burnley next before finishing with a trip to bottom-of-the-table Norwich.
For the Gunners, the loss means they will miss out on the chance to compete in the Champions League next season.
Mikel Arteta’s side now faces a difficult journey to Newcastle before meeting Everton on the final day of the season as they look to finish in the top four for the first time in six years.
