In a shocking turn out of event, sensational midfielder Morice Chukwu has pen down an emotional goodbye messsge to his beloved team, Rivers United F.C, and its fans.
After discussing his future with the management and board of directors, Chukwu expressed his wish to pursue his career elsewhere.
Having served the club for two and a half years, the young talent leaves with deep gratitude and appreciation for his time with Rivers United.
Chukwu sincerely thanked the Sports Commissioner of Rivers State, Sir Bar. Chris Green, for his unwavering support throughout his journey with the team.
He also expressed his appreciation to the General Manager, Dr. Okechukwu Kpalukwu, and the coach, Stanley Eguma, for their guidance and efforts in developing his skills.
Chukwu acknowledged the contributions of the team’s secretary, Ahmed Abdulraman, and his captain, Festus Austin.
He extended his gratitude to the entire management, technical staff, players, and passionate supporters of Rivers United.
Although leaving the team, Chukwu pledged to continue supporting Rivers United wholeheartedly as their number one fan.
