OGC Nice have signed former Chelsea player – Ross Barkley on a free transfer after his contract termination was signed just few days ago with the Blues.
Nice confirmed the signing of Ross Barkley ahead of their home match against Monaco, with the Englishman signing on a free transfer.

The midfielder mutually agreed to terminate his with the Thomas Tuchel team last month, having only made six Premier League appearances in their last campaign, in which he scored two goals.
After a his spell at Everton, the 28-year-old switched to Stamford Bridge in 2017 but saw his playing time drastically decline from 2020 onwards, which led to his loan move at Aston Villa.
Barkley will be donning the jersey number eleven, which striker – Amine Gouiri vacated after his departure to Rennes, in a deal that saw Gaëtan Laborde go the other way as well.
The French side has been busy in the transfer window signing players with huge Premier League experience as the likes of Aaron Ramsey and Kasper Schmeichel also joined the team as free agents earlier this summer.
Left-back – Joe Bryan was also signed on a loan deal from Fulham making Ross Barkley the fourth former Premier League star to join the French side.
