The two Super Eagles forwards Taiwo Awoniyi, Victor Osimhen and defender Leon Balogun were all on target for their various club sides during the Europa League games on Thursday.
As Union Berlin are battling for survival in Europa Conference League Group E, Super Eagles striker, Taiwo Awoniyi has continued to put in top performances for the Bundesliga side.
The 24-year-old forward grabbed his second goal in the Europa Conference League but it wasn’t enough as his side fell to a 3-1 defeat to Dutch club Feyenoord.

However, he has now scored five goals in his last four games for the club and 10 goals in 14 appearances in all competitions this season.
In the Europa League, there is no stopping Osimhen as he continued his superb form with another goal to inspire Napoli to their first Europa League win of the season.
Osimhen’s 80th minute right footed strike from a difficult angle on the right to the centre of the goal helped Napoli seal a 3-0 win over Legia Warszawa.

The goal took the 22-year-old’s tally to nine goals in just 10 appearances this season, 5 in the Serie A and 4 goals in Europa League.
Meanwhile, first-half goal from Balogun also inspired Scottish champions Rangers a first win in Group A as they revived their round of 32 dreams.
The Super Eagles defender scored his maiden Europa League goal and led the defence to a cleansheet in a 2-0 home win against Brondby.
His fellow compatriots – Joe Aribo, who was also brilliant on the night and involved in the build up to the second goal, and latest addition to the Super Eagles, Calvin Bassey who replaced Balogun in the second half, also put in a great shift at the Ibrox.

In London, it was a night to forget for giant star Paul Onuachu and his Genk teammates as they came, saw but failed to conquer their hosts, West Ham United, who ran away with a 3-0 victory.
