On Friday, Augustine Eguavoen, the Super Eagles’ coach, announced his roster for the upcoming World Cup play-offs against Ghana later this month.
Victor Osimhen, Odion Ighalo, Oghenekaro Etebo, and Emmanuel Dennis have all been recalled to the team after missing the Africa Cup of Nations, Afcon 2021, in Cameroon.
After being permitted to play for Nigeria, Ademola Lookman is handed his first call up, while Young Akinkunmi Amoo is also given the chance to make his Eagles debut.
The two youngsters have been invited for the all important World Cup Qualifiers against Ghana for the first time.

The Eagles will face their West African opponents in the first leg on March 25 at Cape Coast Stadium, with the second leg on March 29 at Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
