Thanks to two goals from Cyriel Dessers, Feyenoord moved to the UEFA Europa Conference League semi-finals with a 1-3 second-leg victory over Slavia Prague.

With a 6-4 aggregate victory, Feyenoord advanced to the Semifinals due to a well-taken brace by Cyriel Dessers.

Last week, both teams had drawn 3-3 in the first leg of their Europa Conference League quarterfinal clash.

The 27-year-old Nigerian forward showed great foresight by pouncing on a Slavia Prague defensive lapse to score after only two minutes of play.

Slavia Prague, on the other side, recovered their strength and replied through Ibrahim Traore twelve minutes later.

Feyenoord controlled the second half, and the loanee from Genk – scored again 14 minutes into the restart after Slavia Prague goalkeeper Ales Mandous made a mistake.

Both teams had chances in this game, which was full of regular attacks. On the other hand, Feyenoord scored again through Luis Sinisterra to make the score 3-1.

It’s the Nigerian striker’s fifteenth goal of the season in all competitions, and his eighth in the Conference League.

Dessers had an opportunity to complete his hat-trick and strengthen his side’s advantage in the 81st minute, but Mandous saved him.

As they cruised to a comfortable victory to advance to the semi-finals, the Super Eagles star is progressively cementing himself as the Europa Conference League’s king.
