Real Madrid are through to the Champions League final after defeating Manchester City 3-1 on the night and 6-5 on aggregate in one of the tournament’s most stunning comebacks.
As Riyad Mahrez scored a spectacular goal, City appeared to be on their way to the final, where they would face Liverpool.
But Rodrygo pulled the Spanish giants back into the game as he turned the tie around in the 90th minute, first with a close-range shot that gave Madrid hope.

Before rising the highest in the box a minute later to bury a header away from Ederson to tie the game and send it into extra time.
Karim Benzema then pulled the magic moment by winning and completing a penalty after being fouled by Ruben Dias to score the game-winning goal.
City’s failure to respond allowed Carlo Ancelotti’s team to go to the Champions League final, where they will meet Liverpool in a rematch of the 2018 final.

Madrid will now prepare for the Champions League final against Liverpool on May 28 at the Stade de France.
Los Blancos’ next game is a road derby against Atletico Madrid on Sunday.
After such a terrible setback, City will have to pull themselves up, especially with their Premier League title hopes still on the line. They play Newcastle at home on Sunday.
