The Super Falcons’ and Paris FC’s Chiamaka Nnadozie has been selected for the D1 Arkema Goalkeeper of the Year Award.
This season, she played a key role in Paris’ win in the French League, with 13 clean sheets in 19 games.
Paris FC has three games left in the top flight this season, but has already qualified for next season’s UEFA Women’s Champions League.
According to the National Union of Professional Football Players’ official Twitter account, Chiamaka has been considered for the Best Goalkeeper of the Year Award.

Mylène Chavas (FC Girondins de Bordeaux), Christiane Endler (Olympique Lyonnais Féminin), Cosette Jolee Morché (GPSO 92 Issy), and Barbora Votková (Paris Saint-Germain Féminine) are among the leading contenders for the prize.
In December 2021, the Nigerian international was ranked as the world’s seventh best goalkeeper.
The International Federation of Football History and Statistics also rated Nnadozie as one of the top goalkeepers in the world (IFFHS).
