Chelsea wants to sign Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus and seems to be prepared to spend €45 million (£38 million) for him, as well as include Timo Werner in the deal.
Werner was reportedly included in the Thomas Tuchel team’s initial offer of about €25–30 million, but Juventus currently views it as being too little and wants more money.
It appears that De Ligt is interested in moving to Chelsea, while Timo Werner is considering leaving the West London team as well.

Only bids that are close to the player’s £103 million (€120 million) release clause, which is slated to expire in 2024, will be taken into consideration by Juventus.
Chelsea is looking for defensive reinforcements this summer after losing Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen when their contract ended.
Werner was purchased by Chelsea for £50 million in June 2020, but he hasn’t exactly been a standout goal scorer for the Blues, netting just nine Premier League goals in two full seasons.
