Chelsea advanced to the Club World Cup final after defeating Al Hilal 1-0 in the semi-finals on Wednesday evening in Abu Dhabi.

The Blues dominated that game, creating multiple chances and spending the most of the time outside of their defensive zone.

Despite commanding possession, the defence had a quiet day, failing to be confident on the ball.

However, Al Hilal fails to clear the ball after a wonderful play by Havertz culminates in him passing into the area, and Lukaku finishes the job by thumping the ball into the net.

Havertz nearly doubled Chelsea’s lead in the second half with a beautiful move down the flank, but his chip bounces off the outside of the post.

Ziyech came close to scoring as well, but Al-Hilal goalkeeper Al-Mayouf made a superb save to keep his volley out.

After being passed in behind Chelsea’s defence, Marega had Al-best Hilal’s chance of the game, but Kepa went off his line quickly to deny the ex-Porto star in a one-on-one situation.

When Lukaku broke in and found Mount, Chelsea were on the verge of putting the game to bed, but his shot was diverted for a corner.

The Saudi side pushed all-out for an equaliser with the introduction of two forwards, Carillo and Michael, but the game ended in advantage of the European champions
