The 26-year-old Nigerian international helped Everton advance to the third round of the Carabao Cup with a slender 1-0 victory over League One team Fleetwood.
The visitors grabbed their only goal of the game through Demarai Gray after Alex Iwobi found him with a precise ball, and it ended up being the game’s winning goal.

Gray, who wasn’t even supposed to start the game but was substituted in at the last minute for Tom Davies when the latter withdrew after the warm-up, delivered the winning goal thanks to Iwobi’s excellent assist in the box
