2022 World Cup in Qatar has been hit by another shocking victory, and this time around Morocco cruised to a 2-0 win over Belgium during their Group F match at Al Thumama Stadium.

Incredible performance from Morocco, and the North Africans deserve to be congratulated on their victory over a good Belgium side.

To start off their World Cup campaigns, Morocco and Croatia tied 0-0. Morocco, who expected to place in the top 16 going into their last group match, had only won two of its 17 World Cup games.

On the other hand, Belgium was attempting to maintain its early lead in the group by winning, which would have made them the first side to win nine successive World Cup group games.

The Atlas Lions took the lead on Sabiri’s free kick after the Belgians failed to pay attention to Ziyech’s ruled-out goal as a result of their tenacious defensive effort.

Aboukhlal smashed a goal past the Red Devils to silence them, earning him a celebrated triumph.

Morocco’s victory puts them temporarily one point ahead of Belgium in Group F. They appear to be a very challenging team to beat as they have gone unbeaten in their last three World Cup games.

Compared to Belgium, who is preparing for their final group game against Croatia, they have a good chance of moving on to the round of 16.

The Atlas Lions improved after the half while Belgium did not, and that was enough for two substitutes to give them three points. The last time Morocco won a match in the FIFA World Cup was in 1998 when they defeated Scotland. (3–0).

Morocco has won a tremendous victory that will be honored by the entire Arab world.
