The current form of SSC Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has seen the Super Eagles striker close the gap between him and Serie A’s very top strikers.
This was the verdict of the Football411 Podcast crew members, who have been impressed by Osimhen’s red-hot form for his Naples side in the League and Europe.
On the Podcast, the lads had nothing but kind words for Osimhen, who had scored five goals in his last three appearances in all competitions for Napoli.
Napoli is a breeding ground for strikers and Osimhen is a very good one. Even though he hasn’t developed every facet of his game at the moment, he’s starting to come into his own. He’s not far off from the top scorers in the league.
Of course, on Sunday, Osimhen proved indeed that he is becoming one of the top gunmen in the Italian Serie A after he made it goal number four (4) in the league and six (6) in all competitions in his last four (4) games.
The 22-year-old scored the opener last night to help Napoli return to the top of the Serie A log courtesy of a 2-0 home win over Cagliari.
He currently is joint-third on the list of the Italian Serie A Top Scorers, two goals away from Ciro Immobile of Lazio, who leads the chart with six (6) goals.
