The 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League final between ASFAR FC, Morocco, and Mamelodi Sundowns saw a hat-trick from ASFAR’s number 9 player, Ibtissam Jraidi, and two red cards for Mamelodi Sundowns players Rhoda Malauta and Captain Zanele Nhlapo.
The host club, ASFAR FC, won the final game at Stade Prince Moulay Stadium with a score of four goals, along with a penalty kick by Fatima Tagnaout, the tournament’s third-best goal scorer, in the opening seconds of the first half.
Ibtissam Jraidi’s hat-trick increased her total number of goals for the competition to six (6).
In addition to taking up the tournament’s golden boot, Jraidi surpassed Hasaccas Ladies’ Evelyn Nadu, who scored five (5) goals in Egypt in 2021, to become the Champions League’s all-time leading scorer.

Lelona Daweti of Mamelodi Sundowns finished the competition as the Second Best Goal Scorer with four (4) goals, while Fatima Tagnaout of ASFAR FC of Morocco finished as the Best Player and Third Best Scorer with three (3) goals.
The tournament’s Best Goalkeeper Award went to ASFAR FC’s Khadija Er-rmichi, and the Tournament’s Fair Play Award went to Nigeria’s Bayelsa Queens, the Third Best Team.
