Anthony Nwakaeme has ended his 2021/22 Turkish Süper Lig campaign on a stunning fashion, grabbing a goal even as his side fell to a heavy defeat away from home.
Nwakaeme scored the last goal of the game in the four-goal thriller that saw Instabul Basaksehir hammer Trabzonspor 3-1 on Sunday.
Former Roma forward – Stefano Okaka opened scoring 11 minutes into the game at the Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadium.
Moldovan centre-back – Alexandru Epureanu doubled the lead for the home side 20 minutes later. Turkish star – Serdar Gürler made it 3-0 barely three minutes to end of first half.
Before the 33-year-old Nigerian forward pulled one back for his side 59th minutes but the damage has already been done in the first half as Instabul Basaksehir held on to see off the game.

Anthony Nwakaeme ended the season with 13 league goals, 10 assists and a league title and also 14 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions for Trabzonspor.
Despite the defeat, Trabzonspor finished off the campaign as champions of the Turkish Süper Lig with 81 points, 23 wins, 12 draws and three loses out of 38 matches.
While Instabul Basaksehir were left in 4th place with 65 points, 19 wins, 8 draws and 11 loses.
